Barca is a tough one. Even without Messi they should win big at yout never know. Ruben Kazan doesn't allow too many and could try
to make this one a low scoring draw. The Spurs should win but everyone is all over them.
    I'll be passing on both.

He's been named to the squad for the game, but not likely to take the field.
          Hope he's a fast healer!

Who cares about Messi, did you guys watch the Bilbao game? They don't need him to destroy Rubin. Rubin fixed a couple of their matches in the Russian league so don't look at their record like it has anything to do with their form.

Cesar Navas, each player station as fed up with Barca and currently play in Liga appearances Rubin, AS newspaper interview about the upcoming game.

                        * Are you ready to surprise Barca?

                        - It is difficult for us to repeat victory as last season. Barca team is always rated one level higher than us. In fact, I know this is a very difficult match for Rubin Kazan. But we have nothing to lose and this could help Rubin get something positive. Rubin is very little choice or because we win, or be removed from the game early.

                        * Messi has been present in Russia and could play in the game ...

                        - The presence of Messi made it became more difficult for us. In these situations a fighting one, Messi was unstoppable. He can upset the face of the match their abilities, so it would be better for us if Messi can not play. But in football you can not expect someone injured and unable to play.

                        * Rubin Kazan this season like?

                        - We have lost two important players are in the hands of Zenit Semak and Bukharov. Dominguez also Chori Rubin left to join Valencia. But in return we added Carlos Eduardo, an outstanding player. The team has changed a lot but the gameplay, so we stayed. In the last match, Rubin always gain control of the game but will be very difficult to do the same thing before Barca. I imagine the script again last season in the Nou Camp, we will try to limit the space and play counter attack.

                        * The game to be like?

                        - Barca are the best team in Europe, so it is obvious we have to focus throughout the 90 minutes maximum. Yesterday we were reviewing tapes of last year the match between two teams at the Nou Camp.

                        * The weather is very cold in Russia?

                        - Temperatures in Russia at the moment is calm and will not benefit any team.Listen

Early goal from barcelona and over 2.5 will come easily and vice versa.

Rubin are defensively strong. Though the Russian league is kinda weak. I was thinking of taking the 2nd half to be the highest scoring half. Only because Kazan may fault towards the end.

You probably have a point there.
Pinny has the over 2.5 @ 2.06 which I might take.
