chopstick, it's hard not to make a parlay when you see the payout, we all like winning big, but for "some" reason one team always kills the ticket. A few years back, at my local "bookie" I couldn't play singles, and still can't (minimum 3) and no system plays - meaning if miss by 1 still win something. So I had over a couple of hundred of tickets lost because 1 or 2 teams, so I stopped, I make one every month probably, it's not worth it. But what is worth it, having as many good singles as possible, and make some money. Then try a parlay once a week/month with $20-30, with the-best-out-of-the-best picks - one pick from each league, combine overs/unders, to score or not to score, pick straight up winners..etc and you will have a better chance, and if you hit once every 2-3 months your set big time, if not you don't get hurt.

My biggest parlay ever won is with 12 games in a card, other than that is 3-8 games. 3-4 games had higher hit rate. But again, like you said, the whole card lost because of one team, and Italy turned me down today... but i hit a parlay of 8 games today with $2 wagered. Worth of $146. . Between, what book are u using? Some how i liked parlaying, for some odd reasons, the way i see in single bet is risk higher but win lower... And i like risk low to win higher.... Greedy huh?

hehe it's good to be greedy why not take as much as you can but I suggest you have less parlays and risk a little more, to get more out of it, if it hits, and make your money back if it doesn't hit, on a single bet.

ps: I use a few bookies, I like to change them and split my winnings and losses, but my fav. is betfair.

I'm the same way. I love the low risk high reward parlay! My biggest win was just a few weeks ago in the Serie A I Picked AC Milan, Chievo, Sampdoria, Parma, Fiorentina-Napoli to Draw, Palermo - Cagliari to Draw and Inter and Bologna to Draw and won 5.5 Thou from $17.
