    Mexican League, La Liga
My soccer picks thread. I'll bump this thread for all of my picks, tail at your own risk.

I tend to play it safe, and for today, we have just one pick.

Santos Laguna. -188 ML. vs Columbus Crew @5dimes

    A champions league game.

Game is at Santos' home turf. An MLS team has never won in Mexico. Let's hope it stays that way. Santos play like beasts at home. They're also coming off a loss @Tigres, so It's tough to imagine them losing twice in a row, especially at home against an MLS team.

Edit: the line has now moved to -202

Columbus left a few of their better players at home too. Santos will hammer them. I've parlayed this play on a few bets.

They cashed with the clock winding down. Good job Santos.

I have a few FMF picks this weekend and Wednesday.

For Wednesday, not much going on, placing bets on Tottenham and Barcelona, not too much thought into those. Barcelona is Barcelona and the Spurs played a great second half in Switzerland. They have a lot of their beaten up players back for tomorrows match.

The game at Switzerland was close towards the end. I imagine Tottenham being too much for Young boys at home.

This is what i'm doing this weekend...

Cruz Azul vs Tigres- Azul is starting to get very hot right now. They should squeeze out a win over the slowly improving Tigres.

Monterrey vs Chiapas- Monterrey are a very strong team at home, Chiapas plays well, but they seem to fall short a lot of the time.

Santos vs Atlas- I'm riding the Santos train for a few more home games, especially against weakened opposition.

San Luis vs Atlante- Draw. San Luis is not gelling at the moment. Atlante desperately needs points. They'll steal one.

America vs Necaxa - America- Stronger team at the moment. America is starting to grow at home.

Puebla vs Pachuca- draw. Puebla just lost their coach, and Pachuca is starting to regain their form. I don't think Puebla will lose, but I predict a tough draw.

Hope my picks can pull through. We'll see.

They're an awesome team, but they have their face palm moments. But they're looking good for tommorow and Cacho and Orozco are starting to get really hot.

No Mexican soccer this weekend. Well, just Chivas vs Estudiantes on Sunday as the lone game.

I'm staying away from Chivas for this one, simply because they haven't really adapted to their new stadium yet. They have a new synthetic pitch and have yet to fully look like themselves ever since. I'll be staying away until I see them gelling again.

This is what I'm doing this weekend....

Mexico vs Ecuador - Mexico ML.

The only thing that worries me is the fact that Mexico will not be playing @Azteca and will instead be facing a very dangerous Ecuador side @Guadalajara...in a new synthetic field where not even Chivas has adapted to playing well their. BUT, to not pick Mexico...in Mexico @-160 seems foolish to me. Especially against a team they're 10-1 all time against.

                                I've also got...

                                Canada vs Peru- Canada PK

                                Japan vs Paraguay- Draw

Paraguay are an extremely defensive team. Well organized from the back. Japan is a decent side, but they won't be able to push Paraguay around as hosts imo. I predict a very low scoring draw. I would play the under as well, but don't like the odds/under2, so just sticking with the draw.
