Although losing 0-3 last round at Fluminense domestically, Internacional are the 2010 Copa Libertadores champions, after beating Mexican side Guadalajara. However, despite the big achievement, the team’s focus is now to the league, which in this round will have an opponent who can be considered easy, since Atletico Goianiense are in the last spot of the table.
Coach Celso Roth’s team, however, has some embezzlement and may still be with a “hangover” for the great trophy. On the other hand, coach Rene Simoes is desperate looking for a victory to, at minimum, try to bring some peace to his side. They were just beaten 0-2 at home by Botafogo.
