European Pro Football REALLY being pushed in the states
ESPN will be broadcasting some 74 Live Premier League Games
    in 2010-11

Fox Sports shows games (2010 Champion's League Final was on Basic Fox Channel)

SportsCenter now routinely shows highlights of matches

ESPN3.com will show live games of Primera, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Euro/World Cup qualifiers

Big name players in MLS/Exhibition matches/World Cup boosts interest

Unheard of 3 years ago, let alone 5-10

And no doubt good for books as more exposure = more action

I'm glad we don't have to pay out of our asses to watch ALL the games for our favorite teams like you do in the NFL (Sunday Ticket). There's a few sites online where you can pay a small yearly fee and get the links to watch practically every game and every team you want. This also helps the American soccer fan get his fix on the game during the season for the american sports.

And all of the strips with sportsbook logos on the chest, not to mention the sportsbook advertising banners all around the pitch should and will show thousands of new American viewers just what we are missing in our sports culture.

Which is a ripoff considering you can get the same links for free if you just look around.

Good to see there's more coverage down here though.
