Man U have a history of slow starts. Fortunate to hold on to a 1-0 win on opening day v newly-promoted Birmingham last year, drew 1-1 with Newcastle on the opening day 2 seasons ago, and I think the year before that they drew 0-0 with Reading! And those last 2 went down in those seasons. But now I'm going to contradict myself and say United will win because Newcastle on paper look weak and United need to win to keep up with Chelsea's early start!

Won't be a blowout like Chelsea v West Bromwich. Chelsea is a team machine with several quality players, United is a one-man train on the decline. They don't work for shit without Rooney. Newcastle aren't any good either though. All-in are one of those gambling monsters that will kill your bankroll in the end.

I think United wins with Rooney scoring... or maybe Rooney hits the bar and Berbatov kicks it in from the goalline. That's usually where he scores his goals from.

Don't worry about united is a slow starter, because people look at what happened recently years, but a few yeas before that UNITED WON THEIR OPENING GAMES.

yeah but I am afraıd of some psychological barriers for opening matches in Manu players ..
I m on over 2.5 and wondering if it hit or not,coz it seems %80 of 2.5 over depends on Manu surely, hope they will win 3 0 or more...
