Huge value on Mexico here. Some thoughts:

- La Liga is still more than two weeks away, players still in the early stages of preparation, doubt many of them were keen on flying to Mexico
- del Bosque will use lots of substitutes as Spanish clubs have been very vocal about this
- however Mexicans take this game very seriously (celebrating 200 year independence from Spain) and will field a very strong side in front of a huge crowd
- game will be played above 2200m; that will certainly not favour the Spaniards after a long flight
