    To early to play EL?
I think it's still hard to predict English leagues, too early.

I don't think it's too early. If you got a good idea of the transfer information and status of the teams then you can tell which ones are more motivated and able to start well, Man City would be one of those clubs. Chelsea and Tottenham were one of those clubs last year and look where they are now.

Do not bet on England Championship, League 1, League 2, Conference in the early rounds of the season.

Premier League is good to bet if you know the teams well, players etc.

I think ALL leagues are pretty big guesswork until they get a few matches complete. You can know what you know, but on the field results tell you more than anything else. Betting opening matches in major leagues is a crap shoot no matter what you think you know. I think it's best to keep your unit size low if you feel the need to bet early.

I will wait until all teams finish 5 games, to know how is going on with the teams.

Good value out of the gate, can catch the bookies mistakes.

I will try to do so. As of Sunday, my bookie did not offer Chelsea v ManU. I really like ManU, but no chance, and ManU won.

It's hard if you don't follow pre-season, transfers etc etc. Over the weekend, my best bets were Chesterfield (because I saw Barnet pre season and they were dire), Huddersfield (one of the best teams in the league versus Notts Co. who lost their player of the year and the manager who turned them around and took them up), Derby (versus an overrated Leeds) and Stevenage (who unfortunately drew ). I'm going to keep an eye on Livingston in the Scottish Leagues too

Well, I agree with Daveyboy, you have to follow the pre-season. Like totteham v man city. It is a value bet to go for totteham win and draw double chance as Spurs has a better pre-season than City and based on Harry's home record, you don't expect spurs to lose, it a vlaue bet. Games like AV v West ham, you can also pick up value bet earlier on the season.

But I agree with most of you, go small now just for the entertainment, but once after 5-8 games, then you have an idea of the form as well as the formation teams play.

GL All for the new season.

Unneccessary to wait 5 games into the season. Two(three at most) games into the season, all teams are up to speed and everything is like it's gonna be for the rest of the season.
