The biggest game of the year thus far for Liverpool as they take on Marseille. Liverpool need a win, Marseille only need a draw. I exepct Liverpool to bring the heat on Marseille early on. Fernando Torres will start, after some speculation he could miss out due to a mild injury he received in the game agaisnt Reading. And don't let that Reading game fool you, Liverpool were looking well ahead of that game. They played a weak lineup and a bad formation, plus Benitez was pulling off his best players early in the second half so they could be fit for todays game against Marseille.

Marseille didn't try very hard. The way they opened it up in the back right from the start, on the right side of their defense, -with even the Liverpool goalkeeper reaching his attacker without any problem!-, looked suspicious. The penalty in the opening minutes was already the third easy break in that part of the field.
