    Norwegian TIppeliga
We have six games for today, one of them starting 2 hours prior to the rest.

    Aalesund - Molde

    Haugesund - Brann
    Hønefoss - Tromsø
    Sandefjord - Start
    Stabæk - Viking
    Lillestrøm - Rosenborg

    Aalesund - Molde
Well, this game should be interesting and a tight affair, but a small edge for Aalesund since Molde will be missing striker Fall who has been a good contributor offensively for Molde after getting settled in his position for the club. He has 8 goals so far, that leaves him in 2nd place as top goal scorer in the league. Runstrøm will replace him, and, well, Runstrøm isn't any good - at least not comparable to Fall. Their captain Hestad is sick and unlikely to play, so is striker Diouf. Hoseth is back in this game, and will likely play as a striker and replace Diouf.
He takes free kicks and penalties, and if I can count on Runstrøm failing again then I could see Hoseth knicking a goal here. He's scored 5 goals already this season in 13 matches, and is priced at +360 today at Unibet.com 1 unit for me.

For sides, well, this matchup is a local derby and is historically very even. Last 4 games at Aalesund says 1-1, 0-2, 1-1, 1-1. Two of those games are friendlies, the first and last mentioned.

The draw is at +270 and I will try 1 unit, even though Molde is missing some important players here I like the moral they showed me when they were down 4-1 over Stabæk in their previous game, coming back and making it 4-3 in the last minutes of the game. I have a hard time seeing a winner in this game, but the edge should be in Aalesund's favor. With the price at just about evens on Aalesund win, though, I would rather try the draw at nice plus money considering it's a local derby and historically even match-up.

    Haugesund - Brann
Betting the norwegian tippeliga is not easy at all, as all the teams can beat each other on any given day.
This is a hard game to cap or it may be very easy..
Haugesund is historically a force at home and they brought their killing instinct at home with them from one division down when they were promoted to tippeligaen.
They are 5-2-0 at home this year. Though, 3 of those wins and 1 of the draws came against poor away teams. I'll mention 2-2 vs Strømsgodset, 5-1 over Hønefoss (3 of those goals were conceded after the 82nd minute), 3-0 over Kongsvinger, 2-0 over Sandefjord. But this side has also held Rosenborg to 0-0 and they won 2-1 over Aalesund, this was when Aalesund was in their best shape as well.

Lately they won 6-1 over Bryne in the cup and followed up with a 4-2 win over Start at home.

No doubt they are a force to be reckoned with at home, and they have a great coach.

Brann started off this season like total rubbish and some time went on before their coach Steinar Nilsen finally got the sack the 22nd of may. Their follow up game 2 days later would be another disaster losing 2-0 away from home over Hønefoss, a team in the bottom 3 of the table.
However signs of improvement 2 weeks later winning 2-1 at home over Aalesund. And after the world cup break they did something amazing. Not only did they win 2 in a row which is big for Brann this year, but they also won away from home which is HUGE for Brann. A 3-0 win over Kongsvinger. Their first away win for many months in the tippeliga.

This Brann team have a lot of potential and with a new coach that has had some time to steer the ship in the right direction it suddenly becomes a little bit harder to predict the outcome of this game. At first sight considering statistics and also Haugesund being a very strong team at home, it's not that black and white. If Brann is on the way up form-wise and showing some new spirit they could get something in this game. That being a point from drawing or even three points from winning. Like I said above, Haugesund has a very impressive home record thus far with no losses, but most teams they have beaten haven't been top class and no where near the potential that Brann can play at their best.

But I can not trust Brann either way. This will be a game I will be live betting, I need to see Brann do good on the pitch before I place anything. I do fancy taking a closer look into Brann in the future though there's money to be made if they get their act together and they will end up on a solid run winning games.

    Hønefoss - Tromsø
I rode the Hønefoss train some time back, actually I guess it's a couple of months ago now. I was betting them to be up at HT as they showed some real fighting spirit from the very first minute of the games they were involved in at home.
Tromsø started the season off on a high note, and didn't stop either going 9-3-1 the first 13. But now stands with 9-3-3 after 2 straight losses and last game they were thrown out of the norwegian cup by Ranheim, a newly promoted team to Adeccoligaen.

It's difficult to predict the outcome here, but considering Hønefoss are in deep need of points and Tromsø's good form stagnating lately then I think it's time to buy a ticket and ride that Hønefoss train again. Going on a hunch here.

Hønefoss at HT +332 1 unit
    Hønefoss +0.25 +100 1.25 unit

    Sandefjord - Start
Here comes a game I was originally planning going big on. I've been paying a close attention to the lines on this game of that very reason. Both teams opened as -105 on the asian leveball. Then suddenly Start was bet down all the way to -120 and Sandefjord was at +110.

At that time I was scratching my head and not knowing what to think really. Should I go big here, or wait, or what should I do... In hindsight I guess I should of have bet Sandefjord whilst they were +110 on the +0 asian handicap. Because the table has turned and it is now Start that are +110 and Sandefjord is -120.
The moneyline on Sandefjord has gone from +188 to +150. There's been some major movement in the market on this game. But enough of that.

I have decided to not go big on Sandefjord here. It pains me if they are to win big today and I am not riding a 10 units ticket on them, but I'm gonna be cautious. It smells, no, it reeks of relegation of this team.
They are dead last going 1-3-11 with 6 points, but they have showed improvements lately. It's unfortunate that their strikers isn't in top shape and putting away their chances of scoring. When they visited Rosenborg, the best team in the league 1 week ago they came very close to scoring several times. Also from very earl on in the game. I think Sandefjord is due a win, and especially at home. But I have been waiting for this team to catch a break and to get on a decent run collecting points for so long now - it's not easy to predict when they will start doing some collecting. They are traditionally a decent or even strong home team, and Start is not a strong away team. I think this might be a good spot for a desperate team to collect a full three points and a win in the books.

Start opened the season on a very high note and showed us all some amazing offensive football. But this is something they always do. Start off good, but then to hit a dry spot for a month or so, and then hit a decent run again and finally closing off the season on a very bad shitty run. I am getting used to it, this being my home town team. Well, it's about time they hit their "decent run" after a terrible time with poor results. But until they actually show me something then I will not be trusting them to win any kind of match. Their 1-0 away win over Fredrikstad in the cup in their last game will be a confidence booster for sure, and they were actually talking about reaching the finals in the cup after that win. Until they found out they will be playing Rosenborg in the next match. They have no chance of winning that game, I'm sure, and it will be a mental blow for them to now they have to face Rosenborg.

This is do or die, most likely, for Sandefjord. They need to win this game, and I think after the small improvements lately that it will "click" for them today and they will get a much wanted three points over Start.
It doesn't hurt that Bugge Pettersen is a WALL of a goal keeper for Sandefjord, and should keep Start from scoring more than 1 goal at most.

    Sandefjord ML +160 2 units
    Sandefjord HT/FT +400 1 unit

    Stabæk - Viking
I like Gunnarsson to score in this game. He scored a hat-trick when Stabæk won 4-3 over Molde, 2 of following a penalty but nonetheless. He looked sharp and took over in the absent of top striker Nannskog.
Gunnarsson to score at +200 at Unibet for 1 unit.
As for sides I think it's an open game. Viking is a side I tend to write off and then they suddenly surprise me and wins a match I had no hopes for them to win. I have trouble seeing a winner in this one. Perhaps a draw here.

    Lillestrøm - Rosenborg
Another difficult game. I'm clueless on sides here, but I will give Skjelbred to score a go at +525 for 1 unit.
With new coach Eggen Skjelbred seems to be more offensive and more involved in the scoring for Rosenborg.
I backed him to score in their last tippeliga game because he had scored in the two previous games before that one. Of course Rosenborg struggled to score on Sandefjord who with Bugge Pettersen "the living wall" as a goal keeper made it very difficult. He of course scored in the following game in the cup... I will try him again today.. this is like chasing the dragon here. I will cash him to score!

I've got Aalesund +114 and Stabaek +110 in Norway today.

I reckon at least one of these teams will earn a home win today, which would give me a profit.

Good luck bro. You only need one to secure a profit, as you said.
