Uraguay will have motivation being the upset team to get to the final 4. Germany may not care.

No team wants to finish the world cup with two losses. It's a game where the coaches use some of the back ups who didn't play before. Germany will want Klose to score a couple goals to surpass Ronaldo in most goals in WC history since this is his last WC. Uruguay is too banged up with 4-5 players injured and as we saw in the Netherlands game when they play an open game they are carved up like butter.

excellent angle, germany team total over might be a play or the over in general...haven't looked at it yet, but I like this angle.

I could care less what the teams are playing for or what they win, I'm not that emotionally attached to it. If the game presents an angle that I think will win and I'll profit from, I'll play any game/match. Someone had a good thread earlier on the history of the 3rd place match, think it had to do with totals.

Agree...defense will not be tight as both teams will be pretty down and loose. If anything the Over is the play

I heard the announcers mention today that 3rd place games are generally high-scoring. That's probably going to be my play.
