Can you see how defense will keep your team in matches at the World Cup level. The might Spain until recently was not able to score. yes yes they missed a PEN but Para did not allow their central defenders to be split. Did not allow strikers to run wild...they were able to stop any runs which caused any real scoring opportunites. None of this lets switch up line ups in the knock out stage....
Also the mid fielders worked together with defense first and then supporting the counter attack....

while alll ur points r true....the thing tht kept the usa from advancing was def finishin easy scoring opportunities and first touches...

yes i agree 100%......there are other depts that need to be worked on which u mentioned. Def is a must with ur points also
