They'll be down to only Uruguay (who were lucky to make it!) after Spain takes care of business later today.
European tactics and discipline are doing them in!!!

Spain vs. Germany will be a better game than Spain vs. Netherlands, but I'll ride Spain all the way to the end...

I am liking the netherlands actually. As for the south americans, they were too overhyped and both brazil and argentina had ridiculous coaching decisions - Milito gave Inter a triple but didn't start a single game and Ronaldinho not taken with the squad at all.

I agree. Great talent in South America but very poor coaching, to go along with poor discipline. Actually, Dunga was not that bad, it was more that his players were completely undisciplined -- but in Argentina's case, Maradona is no match for the superior European coaches.

I meant that the five teams would be down to only one with Uruguay in the final four. For a while some people thought it could be from two to four in the semi-finals.
Paraguay are looking great so far, so who knows, maybe it'll be the two Little Guys from South America in the semis!

Uruguay wasn't lucky. they deserve it. that was a poorly taken pk. btw, Ronaldinho didn't belong in the squad. he wouldnt have done much better, if anyhting he is a weaker defender than anyone who he would have played for. but I do agree that Argentina got out-coached.
