    World Cup soccer ball movement
I just watched Uruguay first goal and the ball swerved in a way it shouldnt have. The World Cup Players are right that ball is moving in ways that are unnatural. I doubt they will use this ball ever again after the world cup.

On the contrary, the ball is doing exactly what the designers wanted it to do.

Players are finally getting used to it and controlling the flight on it. The two goals in the GHA/URU game were a success for Adidas and i now think it's brilliant.
No one is going to blame goalkeepers for letting those in, and now we are seeing some amazing goals rather than every shot flying over the bar

Yo I played soccer at a very high level and I know how to swerve the ball, make it knuckle to look like its going one way and then dip another way, I can balance a ball on my head like a seal. And I just watched the movement in slow motion and the ball was spinning one way then Knuckled the opposite way, no other ball does this. No other ball you practice with or play competition with has ever done this that is why the goalies are getting caught out of position. The Ghana goalie had tracked the ball movement then as soon as it got about 8 yards away it totally knuckled the opposite way it was spinning. All the announcers are even saying it.

i'm not denying the movement, simply saying that finally the ball is doing EXACTLY what it was meant to do. What it was designed for.

But that is just terrible. Even if it was intended. Forlan's goal was just a disgrace.

Exactly not what it suppose to be doing, forlan hit that ball with the intention of it curving to the opposite side post that it went in. And when you are a player that trains to make the ball dip, curve, and knuckle and all of a sudden it is moving differently than any ball you have practiced with for the last 10, 15, 20, years of your life there will be problems and that is what is happening especially with the goalies. By the way soccer balls have been designed to move like this for years already.

Plays, you aren't getting the point.....Adidas don't give a fuk about consistent ball flight where if you hit it one way it stays there.
They want all this crazy movement, that's what is in the memo about this ball. Consistent ball flight was sooo 2004
