value certainly on Ghana. I kept saying African football will keep improving and one of the most improved nation in last 5 or 10 years is Ghana. Just look at their record, until 2002, they never qualify to world cup, 2006 is round of 16, 2010 is quarter final.

Another factor is home team always manage to go at least semifinal stage in world cup since 1998 (last time home team does not do so is 1994 US). Ghana is basically virtual home team. The whole African is basically supporting them against "unknown" Uruguay. I mean, which African will support Uruguay? Maybe there are those that support Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Netherland or even Germany, but Uruguay?

Yes they did... but "BRILLIANTLY" is a bit exaggerated. I would say US lost the game by missing those 3 open chances and couldn't finish for craps. I don't think Uru strikers will be that bad.

It isn't necessarily that they are going to win but at this point against a relatively weak team (odds wise) I think Ghana is priced too high.
