The offside call on the first goal was a very tough one to call without the replay, and the rules don't allow for the change from the referees original call based on the video. He couldn't really do much about it.

The second goal was 100% the fault of sloppy Mexican defense.

The blame should fall squarely on FIFA for not taking the steps necessary for their biggest event to implement the technology to review the important decisions like the two questionable goals we've seen today. Every sport experiences bad calls from referees, and you have to accept them as they come as part of the game.

i would rather my team have a couple of yellow cards and the score still being 0-0 or if you want 0-0.5 lets say then being down 0-2 so the ref is bad and not getting yellows doesnt change that.

Exactly, its important that the ref let the players know what he will tolerate and what he wont tolerate, he need set the bar early on. Then the players will know not to cross that line. But some refs just love to show those cards .
