Winners? Most certainly Uruguay and I do not mind the odds. Impressive campaign so far by Uruguay and there are quite a few who mention them as potential World Cup winners. I will not go that far, but surely they will reach the quarter final by defeating this highly energetic, hard working, but limited S Korean side. A place in the semi final is very realistic, as the winners in the USA vs. Ghana fixture are waiting in the quarter final. I had reason to doubt the Uruguayan defence before the start of the tournament, but Lugano, Godin and their colleagues have proved me so wrong. They have yet to concede a goal. Godin, by the way, should be back from injury for this match. D Forlan, L Suarez, Cavani, fantastic forwards.
S Korea impressed in their first match against Greece, but their opponents played really poorly. Since then I think that S Korea have been found out, so to speak, conceding as many as six goals in their next two games. An incredible miss by the Nigerian striker Yakubu made this place in the play offs possible for S Korea. Uruguay should win this match.
