Denmark vs Japan BEST BET is...
Under 2.5 (-141) Risk to win 2 Units
    Under 1.5 (+213) Risk 1 unit

Prior to the start of the tournament, everyone expected Cameroon to qualify along with the Dutch. Now Cameroon is already eliminated and we have Japan and Denmark fighting for the number 2 spot. Denmark's comeback victory over Cameroon showed they are a team with character and grit. However for this game there is a key piece missing in Denmark's offense with Bendtner unfit. If Bendtner was fit for this match, Danes have a very good chance . While Denmark are more than a one man team, Bendtner is clearly their most dangerous offensive threat.

The Japanese have proved a tough nut to crack and considering they need just a draw here, an all in defensive mode will be even more difficult to solve. Japan has seen a total of 2 goals in their 2 matches (they allowed only one goal against Holland while everyone expected the Dutch to blow them out), and with what's at stake a 0-0 draw wouldn't be all that surprising. Obviously the Danes will have to attack at some point, because they are going to need to win this game if they are to advance, but the task is all the more difficult with Bendtner doubtful with his injured groin.

All signs point to an incredibly slow and boring game in this matchup that will lack much offense. Japs are certainly not an offensive powerhouse and neither are the Danes. Japan knows their key lies in their defense, it's what has put them in this position. Surely they'll look to continue that style of play and try and hold on for a draw. There is some value in the Under 1.5 with +215 odds as well because this game looks like a 0-0 draw or 1-0 victory for one of the teams. Either way, under 2.5 goals should be a nice win.
