After France was eliminated yesterday, today is the most exciting so far in this WC.

Today, Germany and England could be handed their exit tickets.

England must win, or go home.
Germany could go through with a draw, but only if Serbia doesn't beat Australia...

I want to see England go out today, many including myself looked forward to seeing them play, but they have been disappointing. England's team is one of the teams where players have the highest wages, they should be able to play better and not so pathetic as against Algeria. They need to improve if they are to move forward today, but big teams usually win if they have to. Maybe the players are tired after a long season in Premier League, maybe they need a winter break like Fergie said.

USA also needs a win. Draw might be enough if England failed to win, but can't count on it.

exciting day no doubt. an awesome day because in theory all 8 teams have a shot at advancing. so Australia and Algeria would need upsets themselves and upsets in the other games, although Algeria beating the USA and having Slovenia Draw would do it, a very slim chance is there.
