    Uruguay/Mexico U1.5
If there is a time to fade me it is now. But I am not fading myself.

    10 units @ 2.05

    Uruguay/Mexico is under

Because they both qualify for a draw
Because they both probably still qualify with a 1-0 loss to each other

The idea is no one needs to score and if they do the other team just has to defend and not concede anymore to qualify.

That's a pretty strong bet, but a 2-2 tie wouldn't surprise me either...It would make both teams look more "innocent".

I'm looking for an aggressive start in this game and hopefully an early goal. If that happens, then the total will rise in live betting and be a prime value. But U1.5 doesn't appeal to me.

Early goal is certain death for U1.5. Unless they get the call from France that it is 1-0 France and they know they can qualify with a loss.

If France get up by 2-3 goals and Uruguay or Mexico is down this game will be wild.

Over 2 +165 for me... Why not if they tie 1-1 I push. But with those odds why not take the chance!

Hard to bet an under 1.5. With all the upsets and the 7-0 victory today...

Under 1.5 is definately the play in this game.

no team is going to take any risks and it could be a boring stalemate. have a prop bet on the under for booking points as well.

the only reason a team might be taking risks is would be to try to avoid argentina. probably not worth it if it could mean you could be eliminated.

a lot of how this game is played will depend on the score in the France/SA game, which is what scares me a bit. regardless, both teams would be well satisfied with 0-0 and i think they will both play accordingly.

because everything about this game suggests otherwise.

I'm not saying it will be over 1.5 for certain, but this accepted notion that both teams have nothing to play for is just plain wrong.

I'm sure neither care if they finish 1st or 2nd...after all it's only the difference between playing the best team in the world (Argentina) or playing against a very beatable team (Greece/S Korea).

i think the notion is not that they have nothing to play for... but that both sides have plenty of reasons to play not to lose, rather than going out there to win the game.

Very similar to the Denmark v Sweden faceoff european championship 2004. If they drew in their final game during the group stage, they would both be out of reach for Italy. And they did. 2-2. I could see Uruguay being up 1 goal at the end, Mexico scoring somewhere before the whistle.
