He was killed in 1994 in Colombia after he scored an own goal when Colombia was playing the USA which eliminated Colombia in the first round (they were one of the favorites)

Damn that was harsh. I always just knew that some Columbian soccer player was killed for scoring a goal on his own team. Never could put a face to it. It makes me sad now that I can.
