The under is overrated in this game, it's more end to end rather than 1 team like Spain holding possession.

Chile plays a more vertical game and their wingers attack constantly from both sides. Switzerland will have a tougher time stopping this team than they had with Spain..

A vertigal game won't work against the Swiss, you need to try to find penetrating passes up the middle. Spain couldn't do it, let's see if Chile find a way, they have certainly come out with more energy and urgency than the Spanish did.

That didnt work for Spain, thats why im saying itll work for chile.. spain spent like 80% of the game trying to pass their way up the middle and the swiss just kept rejecting everything.. still believe their wingers are the right strategy to break that defense up.. l

This ref just gave out 4 yellows in 20 minutes. Pathetic refereeing continues. A solid Ref would be talking to the players about the tackles, just like what's been happening with the top European refs.

It didn't work for Spain for the same reason it doesn't work for most teams against the Swiss - they are too tall and too strong in the air - Chile have no advantage there that Spain didn't have.

Chile are doing the right thing in pushing the tempo, something Spain needed to do more, but remember no-one has scored against Switzerland now in the world cup in the last 6 hours of trying.
