NEW ZEALAND - 0

BETTING - UNDER 2.5

ITALY had a tough first round match against, in my opinion, a very good PARAGUAYAN team. NEW ZEALAND on the other hand played a decent SLOVAKIAN team. Both teams managing a draw. At initial glance I liked the odds for NZ, but i don't believe ITALY is going to give up a goal. So i thought about taking the draw, but again its hard to take the draw in this situation. So in my opinion, when considering relatively weak NZ attack, the UNDER is the safest and most likely gamble.

New Zealand is a descent hard working team the odds underrate them a lot IMO. Italy will be a massive public play I think about as big as England vs Algeria.

New Zealand doesn't stand a chance. The Italians will win, at worse, maybe draw. Still, this is a must win for the Italians after the draw with Paraguay.

New Zealand +1.5 looks tidy here. Italy will be a little safe to start with their new keeper I think despite the confidence in the veteran Marchetti. The Italians are not a team that has been adept at scoring goals all season in international play, so I don't expect more than two. Look for the Kiwis to defend, defend, defend and try to work a draw here at worst. A point keeps both teams in the mix for advancement regardless of the outcome of Slovakia-Paraguay. Italy likely will work the win here, but if New Zealand plays with heart and determination on defense - I can see them sticking within a goal.

I agree with NZ +1.5, as Italy has some problems in attack, with good players in Serie A that tend to underachieve for their NT. They are without Pirlo again and with the Oceanians probably being with ten men behind the ball 9 minutes out of 10, I think Italy will just scrape the win.

Agreed Vitalyo, Italy to win to nil is the play. How much to nil depends on how they approach the game. New Zealand battled hard against Slovakia, but really should have been beaten by a country mile. Italy may just do that. 2-0 or 3-0 is likely.
