    can I bet online from US (legally?)
    as a newbie, I am not quite sure if I can play sports betting online coz I am in the US, where I heard the government forbids all online gambling?

    any websites I could play with my money safe?

          Everyone on here lives in vegas, where you can legally bet sporting events or lives in costa rica. No one here would do anything illegal. So you best get your shit together stop trying to do something illegal. They will catch you, take all your money and throw you in jail. 4 years minimum in the federal pen. buddy

                          My understanding is that it is legal for you to place wagers, but it is illegal to book without a license. Also, illegal for a financial institution to transfer funds to a gambling site.

                          Feds trying to tell you what to do with your property. Typical bullshit.
