USA vs. Slovenia.

I took the advice of some posters and didn't give up completely on the tournament so I watched the game. GREAT game. Most exciting soccer game I've ever watched. One of the best sporting events I've ever watched. And not just because it was the US playing. I was on the edge of my seat...virtually unheard of for a game I don't have a bet on. So what happens? These idiot refs pull an Alexander Belov on us.....

Like I said earlier...hang around long enough you'll be on both sides of calls. Obviously, it was a bad call, but I would guess the Ref probably was seeing all of the wrestling going on in the box and decided to not let it decide the match. Right or wrong, that kind of activity goes on in the box during every set piece, and for the ref to decide at that moment to make a call when 99% of the time refs let that go, is questionable at best. I would suspect that guy is finished for the rest of the Cup on important matches.
