This is very worrying, even if England win the game the team has so many weaknesses its scary. Its hard to admit this but they looked better under Sven, at least the defense could be relied upon.

You don't sound like team USA's biggest fan
I think everyone is overlooking the fact Algeria is very solid defensively. They will shut down the US forwards if they could shut out Rooney and Heskey. In fact Algeria will be the toughest defensive team that the US will face in the World Cup so far. And they can easily slip in a goal vs porous US defense. They will play 4-4-2 and not 4-5-1 like England game. Their new goalie is solid. Djebbour will play up front and not rested like today. And the forward who got the red card can play next game.

Algeria have good individual players, the defenders are very good but their cohesiveness was the big worry. A cohesive defense is more important than good defenders who can't play together. The problem had been their GK, this new guy seems a little better but still shaky in the air.

Algeria arn't as organized and cohesive as Slovenia but have more talented players and will have their striker back.

If the US manager allows his team to be a sitting duck again from a tactical perspective the team could be in big trouble. USA play their best when they go all out for it, players like Donovan show their leadership quality and get the team pumped up.

        Imagine Slovenia and Algeria qualifying

There is one more think you need to consider. The US used a lot of energy today to come back from a 2-0 deficit. Algeria was sitting back all day easily stopping the England "attacks". I wonder how fresh the US players legs will be on Wednesday.

US fitness isn't a concern, they are have great fitness trainters, you waste more energy sitting back chasing the ball anyway.

If they play that rigid 4-4-2 and give Torres who looks weaker than a 10 year old kid another start, now thats more worrying.

I bloody hope that Slovenia either draws or beats England and US wins against Algeria.

I would love seeing England fail to qualify. They don''t deserve to get through the group stages.

Fuking rubbish they are, bunch of weak Poms.

If England doesn't qualify the tabloids will have a field day with the players. It will be great reading for a couple of weeks for sure..lol I'm really not sure why people think Capello was the answer, it doesn't change the fact that most of Englands squad really isn't that good, and the same players failed to qualify for the European Championship just a couple of years ago. Other than Rooney and Gerrard for his leadership, the rest need to go and England needs to get younger. Everytime I see Peter Crouch get sent in to spark the England squad in the final 20 minutes I almost puke.
