    Confused about Bet
I made a bet on the Mexico France game. It was a half-time handicap on BET365. Tie - Mexico +1.0 it was graded as a loss. I thought I would win if it was a tie at half time. What gives?

        tie - Mexico +1?

can you explain a little more, maybe also post a picture of the bet? to me it looks like there are 3 diff bets in that. If it was a handicap on Mexico +1/PK for the 2nd half it = win.

I'm confused about the "tie" in your bet.

It wasnt a half time full time bet. Yes there were 3 options. Its a 1st half handicap. Options were France -1, tie-mexico +1 and mexico +1. I think the difference between the tie-mexico +1 and mexico +1 was that in my case half the stake should have pushed and half won. At least thats what I thought.

That's a 3way or so called European handicap (as opposed to the 2way Asian handicap). You were betting the tie giving Mexico the head start, meaning France must have won by exactly 1 goal for you to win your bet.

I talked to someone on the website. He said its a loss because since it was a tie and I had tie-mexico +1 that meant my bet came out mexico 1-0. If it had been france 1-0 then I guess I would have won. I dunno lol this is stupid.

What is stupid is that Bet365 seems to have its own way of labeling these handicaps.

Usually the European handicaps are written as

                      Home (0:1) - same as -1.5 Asian
                      Draw (0:1) - no equivalent
                      Away (0:1) - same as +0.5 Asian

Oh well, at least I didn't loose a lot of money on it, just frustrating because I thought I was betting on something else.

what is so stupid about the labelling?

it should be clear what each option is when you look at all 3 options
