Posted a thread yesterday with goal totals from 1st match to 2nd match to 3rd match for last three Cups. There really is no direct correlation to there being less scoring in the 1st match and more in the 2nd match. It's all about match-ups and yes, LUCK as we saw with Nigeria and Greece. That match likely would not have gone past 2 goals without the red card.
