#1 Argentina -1 goal @ -135 (1 Unit)
Rankings: Argentina #7 / S. Korea #47
If anyone watched the ARG/NIG game, you would have seen that Argentina had numerous chances in that one. Messi himself had about 3 solid chances to score. The Nigerian goalkeeper was playing out of his mind. Argentina took 20 shots / 7 on goal (Nigeria had 12 shots and only 1 on goal), took 10 corner kicks to Nigeria's 4, and dominated possession for 65% of the time. Keep in mind that Nigeria is the 21st ranked team in the world. I know South Korea beat Greece, but Greece looked horrible in that game. I don't think the Korean's are as good as they looked in that game. I expect Argentina to come out with the same intensity as they did last game, but to put a few more balls in the back of the net.
#2 OVER 2.5 ARG/KOR @ +125 (1 Unit)
This will be the 3rd game since the start of the world cup that the OVER 2.5 goals will hit. Prior to the game against Nigeria, 4 out of 5 games that Argentina played in, had 3+ goals scored in them. In its 4 of the last 6 matches, South Korea has scored 2 goals. Argentina's defense is it's biggest liability and I see the Korean's scoring at least 1 goal. Argentina should be good for 2 or 3 of their own. Final score: 3-1 Argentina.
#3 NO GOALS 1st Half GRE/NIG @ +138 (1 Unit)
Both teams are at the bottom of the standings and playing a crucial game. The loser of this one is DONE! Both teams know this and will be extra cautious in the first half. As poorly as Greece looked, this is still a team that focuses on Defense first, scoring goals second. They will play tight in the first half, and open it up more in the 2nd. I expect Nigeria to control possession and press as much as they can with the support of their fans. Even if Greece is able to counter-attack, Nigeria's goalie Vincent Anyeama has shown that he is more than capable at making critical stops. I expect a DRAW to occur in the first half. The odds for a Draw in the first half are at +105. Honestly, there is virtually ZERO chance that a first half DRAW will end in a 1-1 or 2-2 score. If a draw is to occur after the 1st Half, and I think there's an excellent chance of that, it will most likely be a 0-0 score. Therefore at odds of +138 we'll take this wager that there will be NO goals scored in the 1st half.
