Two things will be guaranteed tomorrow morning.

1. Mexico will dominate possession.

2. Mexico will create many chances to score.

On number one, Mexico has dominated possession against some pretty impressive teams recently. They dominated possession against England, heavily. They were about even with the Netherlands in terms of possession. They also dominated Italy, and actually beat them. For the record though, these were friendly games, and against teams that don't rely on maintaining possession to win games (except Holland). England and Italy don't play like France, so take this info however you want.

On number two, Mexico created chances during this European tour against world class defenses. The English defense held up against Mexico only because of Mexico's very own ineptitude when it comes to finishing, but the chances were there. The dutch defense gave up a goal after Mexico made some half time adjustments and the Italians saw an entire rain of Mexico chances, but only 2 went in.

The problem with all of this is we don't know if Mexico is going to finish their chances.

France is a mess, they are an organizational mess on the field (how do you lose to China, at home?), but they're still France, and can rely on individual brilliance at any second. France has a punchers chance in if you will.

Just got some info from the radio. Mexico is going to start Memo Ochoa, their usual starting keeper, who never should have been benched in the first place.

Aguirre ended up going with the Older, shorter 'Conejo' because of experience, to open the World Cup and help provide extra caution for the first game.
