Chile's 3-3-1-3 is not played by any other nation because it is too offensive. The only downside to their offense is they have an important forward injured. Honduras is without Palacios and Suazo though, 2 of their best players.

Honestly I don't know much about Honduras so if anyone does, please tell me how good their defense is.

3-3-1-3 sounds like a modified 3-4-3..wont be too much different just sounds weird

Honduras beat them 2-0 in January last year in a friendly... only thing stopping me from betting pre-match. I'd rather see a couple minutes get a feel for expectation.

Honduras has zero big tournament experience on the roster as David Suazo and Carlo Costly are both down with injuries. Chile's speed should really do Honduras in as Mattias Fernandez is the man.

Costly and Pavon scored about 75% of Honduras' goals in the qualification rounds. Just somethin to keep in mind.

Pavon actually scored 1 of the 2 goals in Honduras' friendly win over Chile.

The missing of at least Suazo and Palacios is not that big of a deal IMO.

As long as Palacios is fit and playing I like Honduras chances to slow down Chile's attacks. I've seen him every week with Tottenham and he's a beast in the middle.

Honduras' D doesn't get much respect. Suazo is out for Honduras, but it looks like the other Suazo will be back for Chile. Should be interesting to see how Honduras counters the formation. I don't think they can afford to load the box and defend as their defense isn't their strength and it would seem that it would be like trying to plug a hole in a damn with a cork if they do. Sooner or later, Chile would get something. I think Honduras has to look to be offensive too. Chile's defense isn't exactly one of the best either.
