will North Korea get a point in Group G?
Not sure there is this kind of thread before.

    Anyway, any thoughts?

    - Their odds (Betfair) against other team (other team odds to win):
    Brazil @ 1.11
    Portugal @ 1.21
    Ivory Coast @ 1.33
So, it means, even if 1 unit each is put in any of these matches to lay the bet (other team not to win) and they manage to draw or even win, it basically a plus already.

    The negative:
    - They are lowest ranked nation in this World Cup

    The positive:
    - They qualify in Asia group because of their stingy defense, only 5 goals in whole qualification. Imagine, they can put such defense against one of the team and afford the draw.
    - They have like half year preparation (training) for this world cup, if I'm not wrong.
    - Other team know Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Japan when you speak of Asia teams, but who know anything about this team?
    - This is one of the most important thing. If you know how their country condition, I doubt the players will be "OK" if they fail miserably in this world cup.

I probably pass the laying on Brazil not to win, but 1 unit each on Portugal and Ivory Coast not to win, seems like good bet.

Yes they could, they are mystery their opponents have almost no info on them, they have very solid defense and strong discipline.

if you wondering why I pass on Brazil, I just think it is LOCK of year, century, or whatever you call it, even by saying this I dont think I can jinx it.

Look at Brazil record at first match in World Cup. From 15 WCs since group format is introduced, they only draw at first match twice in 74 (Yugoslavia 0-0), 78 (Sweden 1-1). Apart from that, it's always win, win and win

Their defense is not solid. They conceded 2 goals from Greece in a recent friendly and you know that Greece isn't a scoring machine

If you notice, their official tournament matches somehow are always better than their friendly matches result.
Not sure if it is because the opponents they face in friendly are from other continents though.

Still worth a shot, including another factor that Ivory Coast and Portugal are two teams that like to choke when they are against inferior teams.

decided at the end to lay 0.5u on brazil. now am i seeing history in making? lol still 13 win out of 15 still prove this a lock for brazil win

kaka, robinho, fabiano, or other skilled players need to play a little bit of their individual skill if brazil want to win this match...
