italy's current squad isn't nearly as good as the team, which won the worldcup in 06,
key players like cannavaro , who was the best player at the last worldcup and is now 36 years old are too old .


Their defense looked pretty bad in the friendly games before the wc and i don't see them getting deep into the tourney.

True. They´ve left nice names out from the suqad but Lippi knows what he´s doing. If Italy is loosing or winning more than 1 goal I´m very surprized.
