Hey guys, Im new to this forum, have been following a little bit now since nba playoffs trying to learn more bout nba, mlb and nhl capping >D. Ive been a fan of soccer since I know how to walk and this month might be the most anticipated month in the past 4 years lol. Netherlands vs Denmark:
Over 2.5 Goals (5x): Netherlands is just a delight to see them play. They have great strikers and they move the ball incredibly quick. The only negative output is the injury of Arjen Robben but itll still be a blowout since they still have Top Players like Wesley Sneijder, Robbin Van Persie, Van der Vart, Kuyt... Allthough they have great midfielders and forwards, their defensive line is not that strong and Denmark might score a goal also. Expect a similar game like Germany vs Australia.
Prediction: 3-0 Netherlands!
Italy vs Paraguay:
Paraguay PK (5x): Italy got critized alot when they won the last world cup but in all fairness they did an impecable job at defense, specially from the former Golden Ball winner Fabio Cannavaro. But 4 years later, Italy comes with overrated and veteran players that have struggle greatly in offense and havent been strong enough in defense. Paraguay in the other hand are way underrated and most people seem to forget that they almost snap brazil of the 1st place in the CONMEBOL qualifiers and they have been prooving themselvs since then with great ball possesion,solid defense and great strikers. Most people think that with the absence of paraguays star Salvador Cabañas, Paraguay doesnt have what it takes to beat italy but Paraguay will use that as an extra motivation rather than as a handicap! They have nothin to loose going all out against the world champs and have a strong feeling that this is going to be first big upset in the world cup . Im leaning for a draw but dont be surprised if paraguay takes the victory.
Prediction: 1 - 1 Draw!
Japan vs Cameroon:
Cameroon ML (2x): Cameroon is one of the top 3 african contenders in this World Cup and they have a pretty good offensive line with their superstar Samuel Etoo and other good international players like Webo. This is going to be a close match but in the end I think that cameroon will demonstrate that they are a clearly favorites to advance as 2nd of the group behind Netherlands. Japan plays a very organized football but their lacking offensive skills might cost them the game.
Prediction: 0 - 1 Cameroon !
