#1114 June, 14 June........Wonder why 14 June
Japan
The last of Japan's two victories at the world cup took place exactly eight years ago on 14 June, when they ran out 2-0 victors over Tunisia in Osaka.
- The Blue Samurai also made their World Cup debut on 14 June 1998, with a 1-0 defeat to Argentina.
- They have never won a World Cup match on foreign soil, losing five of their six games.
Cameroon
- The Indomitable Lions have qualified for the World Cup six times - more than any other African side.
- Cameroon have never lost an opening World Cup match, having drawn four and won one. That victory was a famous 1-0 defeat of then-reigning champions Argentina in 1990.
- Paul Le Guen's side are on a seven-game winless run.Comment -

#26Here is another prediction:
Thailand coaches expect win for Dutch
* Published: 14/06/2010 at 12:00 AM
* Newspaper section: Sports
Former Thailand national coaches Arj-harn Song-ngarmsup and Vittaya Laohakul both believe that the Dutch will beat the Danes in today's World Cup action.
Arj-harn, who is currently head coach of Phuket FC, believes the Dutch will win 2-0. "The Dutch have strong and skilful players like Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie, Dirk Kuyt as strikers and in the midfield, they have Rafael van der Vaart, Mark van Bommel," he said.
He believes it will d be difficult for the Danish defence to control the fast-moving Dutch.
Arj-harn said Cameroon will prove too strong for Japan in the other Group E encounter, "Japan are not as strong as the South Koreans and their attack looks weak."
He said, Samuel Eto'o will will trouble the Japan defenders and forecast a 1-0 win for Cameroon.
Arj-harn expected the best game of the day will be between defending champions Italy and Paraguay.
"Italy have a lot of old players and may tire towards the end of the match. Paraguay are quite good at counter-attacks but the Italian defense is strong and they should overcome their opponents."
Vittaya also believes the Dutch will beat Denmark 2-0. "They have many star players and their only weak point is the goalkeeper.The Dutch should win comfortably".
Concerning the Japan v Cameroon clash, Vittaya predicts a draw although he says Cameroon are a better side. "Japan team haven't shown good tactics or technical ability recently. Cameroon look to be more talented, but they might not be at their best in their first match so I think it will be 0-0 or 1-1," he said.
Vittaya predicts an upset in the match between Italy and Paraguay: "Italy look a bit slow and Paraguay have a good counter-attacking game and I think they could edge the defending champions 1-0."

It makes me think. Everywhere I see Holland 2-0 and Cameroon 0-0 or 1-1 type and Italy x. I probably will put small on the correct scores.Comment -

#27I think I like this as the TOP PLAY IN THIS GAME. Japan UNDER .5 Goals Scored +136. Japan will have a few chances to put one in the back of the net. But out of those matches listed above they only scored once against England. Ivory Coast played Jap and beat them nicely. I expect Eto'o to score here and Cameroon take the 1-0 win. NO WAY JAPAN SCORES HERE IMO. BOL to you all.Comment -

#31I agree BFU, thats the only way. Cameroon will control ball possesion and attack until they get their goal. They will be vulnerable to the counter attack but do we expect these Japanese players to string a couple of nice passes and get into Cameroon's defense? I doubt it. I really like this play. Jap U .5 Goals. And not to mention im getting + money on it too. Regardless of the outcome Jap wont score. Or so im hoping.Comment -
