True, and at -200 ish depending your book, it isnt that bad in my opinion. But I like -1 so much that ill drop a smooth sum on this one. Even if Germany have key players out or not the best side in recent years. I KNOW Germany wont let pittiful Australia even come close in this one.

Guys I hope you learned from the last couple games that the 1st match is more important to NOT LOSE than to win, a regular bet on the -1 is the right play IMO. Biggest play of my life would = a must win game by a top country. Anyways GL.

Good luck. Favorites have not had the soccer gods shine upon them. The beginning of the world cup is tricky times indeed.

This is a very bad play to be your biggest of your life. There is no value in Germany -1. Germany is fielding the youngest team ever...avg age is 26 for this year's squad......last time they came this young to world cup in the 1930's. Australia will play not to lose, so they will defend with everything they got hoping to get a draw since Germany is the toughest opponent in the group. Best player for Germany, Ballack is injured along with few others. Sure, historically germany has great reputation but this year most players in the squad are inexperienced. However, they are talented.

This young team will not be able to play a disciplined game, so they will probably concede goals and score goals as well.

Over 2.5 (+118) looks like the best bet.

Australia +1 has much better value than Germany -1.

You forgot to mention that Australia have key guys out aswell. And Johon, If this play is good enough for a regular size bet, then it should be fine for my biggest bet of my life. Correct me if im wrong but EVERY play you make should be a thoughtout certain play no matter what the wager size. And also keep in mind that ive been wagering since October of 2009. So this will be my biggest play not only because its as solid as they come, but because Ive only been wagering since late last year. Im sure eventually ill have more BPOML threads.

Easy german win theyre facing the weakest team on their group, theyre ready to win at any cost i parlayed them with ubaldo yesterday and argentina today...............believe me i have been watching soccer for 30 years, i didnt include england on the parlay because i knew it was 50-50..........im telling u germany are too strong for aussies, easy win.

Not going to be an easy win, even though germany will probably win.
ghana is the weakest opponent in this group, so germany will play patient. the young team might also act a little nervous in the beginning.
don't like -1 bet too much.

I think Germany is gonna fool everyone it may be a draw or Germany by 1 imo I haven't seen anything from them to think they'll slaughter anyone. Ballack was a bigger part of that team than some might think. He's not a plug in player. Who's gonna carry that team this year? Swchine and Podolski. Klosa is done. I think Serbia will tie/beat them. Germany won't get past the quarters bro.

Never said theyll make the quarters. Simply stated that Germany's style of play is by far superior to the Aussies not to mention quality of players as well. I just dont see them losing here. Worst case a draw but Australia will have to play a solid match for this to happen. Germany 1-0 2-0 type of game here.

Id lay off completly from this game if Ghana was a better play. I still think people are underestimating Ghana but its definately nowhere near as close of a strong play as Germany ML. I just have enough balls to take the cap for once.
