Can anyone say how significant this is? Slovenia are favorites in this match up anyways but I want to know how much/what strategy to increase value on Slovenia here.

Algeria v Slovenia is an interesting match, no team should be a major fav/dog in this game but Slovenia are priced almost at evens and have turned into the public "underrated" team. I wouldn't trust either side with money but Algeria has more talent and quality and have a little value not to lose.Comment -

Regarding the Algeria team, don't know a lot about them but I can say that they have a real top quality, star player in Bougherra from Rangers. The guy is a tremendous defender and has the ability to play the ball out from the back. He is also quick, tall and physically strong, he has all the attributes needed to be a top defender. When he leaves Rangers, he deserves to move to a big club, I'm surprised that somebody such as Arsenal, Liverpool or Spurs haven't come in for him.
Spurs have injury concerns regarding King in the long term, Woodgate is injury prone. Arsenal desperately needs solid defenders that are good in the air and Bougherra can also play in the Arsenal style of passing the ball out of defence due to his great technical ability. Liverpool is looking for a bit more speed in defence and somebody who is relatively cheap so Bougherra would suit them too.
The guy also scored a terrific solo goal against Dundee Utd earlier this season. He has really good anticipation and excellent recovery skills to help out teammates in defence.
Anyway, Bougherra is a top quality player who can play at the highest level, he will be a big asset to this Algerian team. If they have other players that can match this guy's ability then they might surprise a few people.
As a Rangers fan I've seen this guy a lot and really rate him extremely highly. At one point there was speculation that Barcelona were thinking of making a bid for him. I just can't believe that we bought him from Charlton Athletic, a guy with his talent should have been playing at a much higher level for most of his career. Or maybe he has just improved a lot since joining Rangers? Walter Smith, our manager, is sort of known for picking up unknown defenders and turning them into really good players, he did the same thing with Carlos Cuellar.Comment -
I watched Slovenia vs New Zealand game a week ago. They completely dominated NZ for the first half with their first team. NZ is the same strength as Algeria. Can't see how Algeria will score a goal or even muster a shot at goal in this game.Comment -
Slovenia is currently overrated, Algeria getting at least a draw wouldn't exactly be a shock, +0.5 @ -120 has some value, Slovenia at 2.3 is way too short. Slovenia on the PK might be worth it but relying on this team to score could leave their backers quite disappointed.Comment -

Jup Draw and under. But i'm gonna skip the draw as the slovenian team is too unpredictable.The only thing that can save Algeria is speed and endurance as they have little exp. Slovenia is a bit more exp team. If they had faster and more technical players on offence they would be top notch. btw as for the Czech Republic and Russia they were lucky to beat the Russians and advanced to the WC as the first game was 2:1 for Russia. Captain being dropped doesn't mean a lot for Algeria but it does mean for Slovenia because situation in Algeria's dressing room is pretty bad because this thing started to happen just before the kick off. Same thing happen to Slovenia on our first WC and then we lost all three games, because of bad atmosphere in dressing room.

Algerian captain is out, but 2 very good players who were about to sit out the game for punishment were pardoned by FIFA just 2 days ago - that's much more significant.
