    Mexico - South Africa Strategy
South Africa +200 over Mexico 25 to win 50

South Africa vs. Mexico ends in draw +215 23 to win 50

These two bets are great to make because they each pay 2 to 1. And the stat that makes these good bets is that the host country has never lost the opening game of the world cup, this means it will be a South Africa victory or a draw.

If South Africa Wins - we profit 27.00

If the game is a tie - We profit 25.00

If Mexico Wins - (Which has never happened before because South Africa is the host country) - We lose 48.00

Is this a good strategy? I heard somewhere about this opening game host country stat, or is that not true? Sorry guys I am not a soccer guy lol just looking for some advice.

stat is true but means shit for today's game ,
essentially you are betting on south africa +0.5 at odds of -200 which is just a terrible bet.
