i'm not a hard core soccer fan, but i have to say - last week Dodgers vs. D-Backs (June 2nd) 14 innings (!) to end in 1-0... so, do not judge the sport by points accomplished.

JJ, i really doubt you do not know this shit but when nobody else tried to explain you in this thread let me do it (though i'm no good soccer handicapper either).

those shit totals (and asian handicaps) you were whining about 2.25 or 2.75 (or whatever) you can consider like 2 bets - for example you put $50 on the o2.25 line. this means that your stake is split into halves ($25) and one half backing o2.5 and the other backing o2. if there are total 3+ goals scored, you won your whole wager. if there are 2 goals, one half produces win and the other bet is void. if there's only 1 or no goal scored, you lost your bet. no big deal, just like the rules of the game and the discretional right of the referee
