    What's the purpose of the ship horn after a goal is scored in hockey?
    Is it so hard for the spectators to see the puck is in the net? Why is it so loud?

    This is why soccer is 10,000 times better. The crowd makes the noise for the goal not the ship horn!

    Um it's just a celebration thing. That's the purpose, it's used for celebration.

    That's a stupid reason to say one sport is better then another.

      Let's not bring hockey up in this forum, I can argue all day why I hate that sport but I'm gonna show some respect to it's fans and stick to talking about the WC.
