Most Overrated vs Underrated WC countries?

my list:

Overrated:
Italy (Not as solid as they used to be, I don't see them repeating 2006 at all)
France (Look at their poor qualifying games and then there's Domenech, Zidane's not gonna save him this WC)
Portugal (If you live with Portuguese neighbors you know what I mean)

Underrated:
Chile (finished 1 point behind Brazil in SA qualifying and some people still believe Switzerland will qualify)
Mexico (on fire, I seem them qualify and maybe win their group)
Slovenia (most people think USA are favorites to qualify, but most of those people have no idea how heroically Slovenia got here as a team)

Portugal is so true. They are so overrated. This is only Portugal's 5th WC appearance.

So true. I would place Italy as an underrated team, as many people think they are old and will go out in the first elimination round, when they will meet Holland or Denmark. I have seen those old jackals too many times before reaching further than expected in World Cups to underestimate them and I think they will have something to say at this tournament also. I don't see them winning it, but reaching at least the quarter finals.

Don't really agree with Serbia being underrated. They have not been good in friendlies and worst of all they are letting in a ton of goals. Serbias strength has been the defense but if that is gone then what is left?

I agree with you on Slovenia, USA are not favorites over them IMO. But Switzerland is not getting past Spain and Chile. Same with S.Korea, Nigeria are favorite to qualify over them, they might not even get a point vs Greece either.
