Back Germany to reach the semifinal for ½ point @ 3.45

These two sides should both win their groups, which would result in Germany playing the Group C runner-up (likely the USA) and Argentina facing the Group A runner-up (likely Mexico or Uruguay) in the second round. Germany and Argentina would both be heavy favourites to win these matches, which would set up a quarterfinal matchup between them, guaranteeing one of them a spot in the semifinal.

How it works: If your bet stake is $100 back Argentina for $50 and back Germany for $50. If everything goes as expected and they meet in the quarterfinal you’ll win $37 if Argentina advance ($50 @ 2.74 - $50 lost on Germany back) or $72.5 if Germany advance ($50 @ 3.45 - $50 lost on Argentina back).

If results don’t go exactly as expected but both sides advance to the 2nd round, then the pairings would be different and it would be possible for them to both reach the semifinals. In that case both bets would win resulting in profit of $209.5
