I looked at the pre-game odds, Mexico was 5-1 to win... I would never put them that big of an underdog after watching their friendlies vs England and Netherlands. They lost both but dominated, Italy were like dinner on a plate for them, books don't care though they put Italy at 1.9 and prob. made a killing off of public anyways...

By contrast, Italy has not been together very long. This edge will disappear as the WC progresses. Italy always starts slowly and grows into the tournament.

I guess qualifiers can be used against Mexico (who by the way, was coached by Sven Goran Erickson during most of those losses) but they can't be used against Uruguay.
