The cards total seems a bit high at ~4.61 yellows per game, the corners are ok ~ 10 per game.

IMO the average should be no more than 4 yellows per game

exactly 4.6 yellow cards per game. Have in mind that most teams are careful with getting yellow cards in their first match then you will have over 5 yellow cards in the remaining games for the over. Impossible. There are some times like Uruguay that will get yellow cards like a clockwork but most of the great soccer nations are really careful with getting yellow cards in the 1st round. For me this is a clear under bet.

In 2006 there were 309 yellow card (but keep in mind that there were 18 yellow card in just one match) - 28 players were sent off. Tunesia and Ghana had been the teams receiving the most yellow cards (each team got 12) while the USA received just 3.

My bet would be under 295.5

Careful. The World Cup is often used to tighten up the rules, with lots of cards in the early stages. This could be one of those World Cups:

FIFA to crack down on dangerous tackles

                      (AP) – 3 hours ago

BRUGES, Belgium — FIFA medical chief Michel D'Hooghe wants referees at the World Cup in South Africa to crack down on players who commit dangerous tackles during matches.

D'Hooghe tells The Associated Press that he plans to give referees plenty of instruction and warning, adding that a big event like the World Cup offers a chance to send the message that these kinds of career-threatening tackles are unacceptable.

D'Hooghe says "we will specifically tell our referees and let everyone know" to use the red card as soon as a career-threatening foul is committed at the World Cup.

Does one red card count for two yellows in the prop?
Anybody seen any red card props?
