I agree there's tons of threads with the topic already, and guy should've checked before but oh well, he's probably a good kid, welcome around Alexy and enjoy the WC.

I just wanted to participate to win some $$$$$ as in the past two world cups, but at that time i was not in any forum, I used visit a book facilities and in addition to have a good time we made money. I thought that if we began betting to the winners of each group ( eight groups) we could have a bankroll for the next games. I sent the first selection just as teaser. The obvius matter is to gather not only the picks but the strategy/system to beat the odds. Reading the other answers you could see that some people have a very good expertise. Can't say that I'm all that interested in it. Might try to watch more than I have in the past but generally soccer just doesn't do it for me.

Very easy matches the first round. If the stars are not injured has good chance. The climate prediction for that time in Cape Town & Johannesburh excelent for the italians, between 24° -25°
The odds to qualify for the next round are poor for italy fans. Some props are better. Look at the Sportbooks. I am sure you know there are differents propositions for this event. No doubt that second round will be much better. Keep your bankroll for that,

If you decide to watch one, these are my suggestion in order that you enjoy the match:
1)Select a match in wich your favorite country is involved (I dont know your nationality to propose one).
2) Go with friends to a public place, there nice books with restaurant service, drinks and meals. Much better if your friends are fans.
3) Place a small bet. Ask your friends or the bookie for an explanation about the propositions. This keep your interest higher than if you dont do it.
4) Enjoy the holiday athmosphere
