I took Slovenia to win the WC at +57000 at 5Dimes.
Up from 56400, so no typo.

The team is much better than given credit for. No chance in hell will they win it all, but it's basically a bet that they will get out of the first round. At these odds that will give me plenty of middling opportunities after that.

At 5Dimes when I posted it. But +56400 a couple of days before. Slovenia odds now down to +40000.

What do you guys think of doing a parlay of 5 teams to advance from their respective groups, like England, Brazil, Spain, Netherlands and Germany? Should give out around +100. Lot of games for that kind of risk/reward but I really don't see any of these teams failing to advance out of their groups and I think it would be a total fiasco for all of these soccer countries if they didn't advance out of their groups. Should be worth something, don't you guys think? Sure, this is the WC, but these teams have alot of talent on their teams.

Slovenia odds are even better today at +62000.
I added Slovakia for +54000 something. Limits are very low, but you can bet them again.

I doubt we'll see these type of odds again in future World Cups for these countries. They are new, so they get no respect. But they can play. Slovenia eliminated Russia from the WC! They won't win, but no team plays more than four matches after the group stages...
