#2Wow. I hate Ballack, I really do. He's an ugly ass player, but I wouldn't wish this even upon him to miss the world cup. That's pretty sad.
Germany will definitely miss him in midfield.Comment -

#3This was his last World Cup, at age 33.
Now its time for the young blood to come in. Could be a good thing or a bad thing.
Should be interesting.Comment -

#4Gotta be frustrating going to final in 2002 and losing, eliminated in the semifinals 2006, injured less then a month before 2010.Comment -

#5Thats sad...The Boateng brother are just brainless. Cant watch jerome playing in some situations aswell - dumb as ****.
Im excited what Löw will do now. Maybe Frings will be nominated again.Comment -

#7Where did you hear about this Raven?
I was watching the FA Cup on Saturday, and he got subbed due to a ankle injury he had some time ago. But it didnt seem to be that much of an injury to make him lose his final WC.Comment -

#8He has torn ligaments in his right ankle. He needs to wear a cast for about four weeks and won't be able to start training for at least another four weeks more.Comment -

#14Bad news for Germany and sad for Ballack.
As a football fan, you always want to see the best players out there and Ballack would certainly be that for Germany.Comment -

#15the problem with this miss is dumbass Jogi Löw... If he simply would ask Frings to play... But the really sad thing is Boateng brother 2 will play now most likely lol
I love Germany but I have NO LOVE AT ALL for the worst coach you've ever seen....Comment -

#18Besides from my "no love" for the german coach I still think Germany will show up this WC.
Schweinsteiger is in the best shape of his carreer. He will play the defensive part in the midfield now IMO. He can create good chances in the offense aswell and with Özil and Müller on his side we could see a very creative midfield this year.
If he puts Podolski on the bench and let Cacau and Klose play even the offense looks good.
Tough to say how germany will finish the WC but I don't see them that bad. Could be better with another coach thoughComment -

#22I second that! I can't stand him, but it's a shame. On the other hand I don't think he's very good, but he brings leadership and experience to the team. Good luck Germany...Comment -

I know that Podolski and Klose were born in Poland and decided to play for Germany but why is Ballack a traitor to you as a Pole?Comment -

I think the most underrated up and coming German player is Marin but he hardly gets a mention, he is much better, I hope he gets a chance.Comment -

#31I have no hope for Ozil, he is the biggest flop when it comes to the big stage, guy is mentally weak and not the best player either.

He is not even on the starting 11, maybe this year because there is no Ballack.Comment -
