I dont rate Benzema at all, I think he was a decent fish in a small sized pond at Lyon - then went to Madrid and got found out. Granted it aint easy to play in Madrid since they have such a messed up mentality its unreal, but I dont think he will ever be effective at the very top levels of European football.

Could be true, maybe he needs a good coach like Fergie - However, just because Fergie wants him is no guarantee he'll be good, Fergwads transfer record is good but there have also been massive, massive flops a la Veron, Djemba Djemba, Kleberson etc

benzema is a good player but didnt get any chance this year cause higuain has been solid, maybe it was a bad decision for him to move to madrid at that age but im pretty sure zidane had something to do with it. Hopefully he gets a better season next year, you can tell kaka/ronaldo get better with benzema then higuain. Also the french coach is retarded this is his last year so after that i believe Blanc will be the coach (current coach of bordeaux), i think his a really good and smart coach who you will manage the french team much better team.

Exactly, I think it was a very bad decision, because even though he did not play that much in Madrid, France does not have too many good players out there this year as they had 4 years ago.
