need help, VALUE betting for in-play?
im reading up on value betting and understand the concept, but i have an in-play soccer betting question regarding value. example-- many games go to half time with 0-0, the 1.9 fav is now 2.5, does taking this bet represent great value? example-- same game the underdog scores first , now the 1.9 fav is 3.5, does betting here at 3.5 represent great value?

would betting on a 1000 games this way where the fav is about even or better at start of game but backing them at 2.5-3.0 in-play produce profit?

im new to this, dont bash me if im not making sence, lol

I don't think it would dude, the best scenarios i have come up for in these cases are if it is 0-0 at half time, check the stats for both teams scoring over 1.5 goals in the second half. Bet365 have this function and it works. Also, another one for that is to bet the asian handicap in play, perfect example was Everton/Fulham the other week -

fulham 1-0 at half time as 9/1 dogs, and i got Everton -1 in play @ evens. Now let's be honest, Fulham were never going to maintain that lead so a push is the worst i could hope for, in the end it won as everton won the 2nd half 2-0.

The straight up win/draw/loss lines offer very little incentive imo - check the different markets
