kid need to grow up a bit... that being said, he has been given the 'evil eye' by many Italians... most likely a bit of jealously and racism mixed together... He has so much talent and is very young, 19. 4 years from now he will be prime, front and center for italy. . I actually gained a lot of respect for him today. Took a lot of bad fouls, and dirty kicks, but other than a nasty look on his face, took everything in stride. I'm rooting for this kid.

don't know too much, know he was given away by his ghanaian parents to some italians. Mario accused his birth parents of only wanting him back when he became famous (wiki). Thats enough to mess someone up, i'd guess.. But just thinking back, how many stupid things did you do when you were 18 or 19... ? He is just under a microscope, a bias microscope at that. The italian media is relentless

Jose is a tough cookie. . . Mario dosn't really respond well to father figures i take it, and Jose, rightfully, has been hard on him at times... That being said, he had a chance to boot him from the team a couple times, and didn't. Truth is Mario will most likely be at inter longer than Jose, and inter need Mario. He's the most talented young Italian in the world. Games like today go a long way to build character of the kid... Jose has been reluctant to go to him in Champ league, especially when playing defensivly... but today when sneijder got hurt, he called on the yound lad. . .And Mario did a bang up job imho!

Balotelli could be the best player in italy but will always be affected by racist chants - that's what Italians are all about. i mean, look at Maicon, playing amazing and still abused to f*ck by bigots.

The problems in serie A is what affected English football in the 80's. Italy are 20/30 years behind us in terms of civilisation/appreciating other cultures etc.

The problem with Balotelli is that he thinks he's amazing, and thinks he can throw his top down or slag fans. At this stage he needs to appreciate fans, praise them etc, otherwise he'll be chased out.

He will be there much longer than Mourinho however, so he'd better get on the fans good side
